What should I do if warning lights appear?

Understand common warning lights and when you should contact support during your trip.

Seeing a warning light can be worrying, but not every warning means you need to stop immediately. The most important thing is to stay calm and assess the situation safely.

Important guidance:

Green or blue lights
These are usually information lights and generally do not indicate a problem.

Orange or yellow lights
These often indicate a warning or maintenance issue. The vehicle can sometimes continue driving, but it should be checked.

Red warning lights
Red warning lights can indicate a serious issue. If safe to do so, pull over and stop the vehicle as soon as possible.

If a warning light appears:

  1. Stay calm and do not panic

  2. Check whether there are any unusual sounds, smells, smoke, or changes in vehicle behaviour

  3. Take a photo of the warning light

  4. Send the photo and a short description to us via our chat

  5. Wait for further guidance if needed

Important:

  • Do not ignore red warning lights

  • Never continue driving if the vehicle feels unsafe

  • If you experience smoke, overheating, or a breakdown, stop immediately

Tip: A photo of the dashboard is often enough for us to quickly help identify the issue.
