Cleaning expectations

Learn what is expected when returning the camper, including cleaning requirements, smoking rules, and when cleaning fees may apply.

What we expect

  • All rubbish removed

  • Surfaces wiped if visibly dirty

  • Kitchen area left tidy

  • No excessive dirt (mud, sand, stains)


Toilet (if applicable)

  • Must be emptied and cleaned before return

  • Failure to do so may result in a cleaning fee


Water tanks

  • Grey water tank must be emptied

  • Fresh water tank can be left as is (unless otherwise instructed)


Fuel

  • The fuel tank must be returned full


Smoking policy

  • Smoking is strictly not allowed inside the camper

  • If the camper smells of smoke, a cleaning fee will be charged


What you don’t need to do

  • No deep cleaning required

  • No exterior washing required

  • No professional cleaning needed


Cleaning fees
A cleaning fee may apply if the camper is returned:

  • Very dirty

  • With rubbish inside

  • With an unclean toilet

  • With evidence of smoking inside


Good to know

  • We clean and prepare every camper after each rental

  • Keeping it tidy helps us get the camper ready for the next traveller
